BRABUS presents an exclusive customization program for the updated Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class. Wind tunnel tested aerodynamics include a front spoiler that reduces lift on the front axle, BRABUS head light inserts with daytime running lights, illuminated side skirts, rear bumper and trunk lid spoiler. The largest wheels for the SLK are BRABUS Monoblock VI, E or S wheels in size 8.5x19” in front and size 9.5x19” for the rear. A BRABUS sport suspension is calibrated to perform with the wider rear wheels. BRABUS offers its 6.1 S displacement engine for the top-of-the-line SLK55 AMG model. It has proven power output of 445 hp (438 hp SAE net) / 327 kW and produces a peak torque of 635 Nm (468 lb-ft). The high performace sport exhaust acts as a bridge to the power upgrade and has a throaty sound. High-performance brake systems provide the necessary upgraded stopping power. Interior accessories include iluminated stainless steel scdoor sill plates, various versions of the ergonomically shaped BRABUS sport steering wheel and a speedometer with 206 mph dial.
