6 Series TENSION Street Version

AC Schnitzer's concept car "The Tension", unveiled in 2005, showcased the awesome engineering capabilities of AC Schnitzer. Although the vehicle is one-of-a-kind, AC Schnitzer adapted its innovations for current 645, 650 coupe models and the M6. The TENSION Street Version is a special edition package, which includes aerodynamics, wheels, tires, and complete interior; it is limited to 50 worldwide. The TENSION Street Version boasts an aerodynamic front bumper, hood inserts, fenders, and side skirts that all feature chrome trimmed air ducts for cooling. The rear bumper integrates a dual stainless steel exhaust system with carbon fiber diffusor; the full trunklid, sport mirrors, and optional bi-color paintwork add the finishing visual touches. Furthermore, the TENSION Street Version is equipped with Type V forged wheels in 9.0x20" on front, and 10x20" on the rear, with Michelin Pilot Sport 2 tires 245/35/20 front, and 285/30/20 rear. Sport springs are offered for the M6, and a sport suspension has been developed for the 6 Series, which lowers the vehicle 25-30 mm; optional anti-roll bars, and strut braces are also available for the M6. The interior dazzles with a remarkable titanium carbon interior trim, 3-spoke sport steering wheel in leather with carbon, carbon fiber automatic shift knob, floor mats, and trunk mat with red embroidered logo, black anodized accessories, aluminum pedal set, and a production sequence serial number on a black anodized center console plate. The conversion work is performed exclusively in Aachen, the USA and Japan
