It is rare to find automotive tuners that utilize wind tunnel testing, unless the tuner is imported by CEC. At the Research Institute for Motor Vehicles in Stuttgart, their wind tunnel is most used for testing and development by vehicle manufacturers. In this case, NOVITEC Rosso utilized the facility to prove the increased aerodynamic properties of their Ferrari 430 tuning components.

In this special lab, the driving behaviour of cars can be reproduced at different velocities. The tests on the Novitec Rosso F430 Supersport were performed at a simulated velocity of 140 km/h. Each part of the Novitec Rosso aerodynamic program has been tested singularly, as well as in combination with each other multiple times.

The lifting effect that normally occurs at rising velocities is proven to be converted to negative lift with the use of NOVITEC Rosso aerodynamic parts. NOVITEC's front spoiler supplied 15.2 kg down force to the front axle, with a .37 drag coefficient. The complete aerodynamic package, including front bumper, rear diffuser, side skirts and rear wing, optimizes the vehicle to 8.1 kg negative lift at the front axle and 35.3 kg at the rear axle.

NOVITEC Rosso's attractive aerodynamics offer proven performance gains to the F430, while also increasing driver assuredness and FUN, especially at higher speeds.
