The southwest chapter of the Ferrari Club held their first Concorso Ferrari this past weekend, Sunday, May 29 2005, in Century City.

Over 100 Ferraris, model year 1990 and earlier, were entered and proudly displayed on West LA’s Constellation Boulevard. Current Ferrari models were welcome for display in a designated area, but were not included in the judging.

CEC joined the Concorso as an exhibitor and vendor of NOVITEC Rosso tuning for Ferrari. An F360 and F360 Spider completely tuned by NOVITEC Rosso were displayed. Wolfgang Hagedorn and Dirk Moersdorf of NOVITEC Rosso were CEC’s special guests from Germany who were on hand to gladly answer questions and promote their brand.

Fortunately, the morning’s rain lasted a short time, eventually followed by sunshine and cool breezes. The fair weather and incredible vehicles brought several thousand spectators to the Concorso for a leisurely day of sight seeing Ferrari-style.

Partnering with the Auto Gallery in Woodland Hills, Claus Ettensberger played host to the Concorso by opening the doors of the CEC Showroom for their awards presentation later that afternoon. CEC provided guests with food, drinks, complimentary valet parking, gift bags, music by a professional DJ, an awards stage, and a beautiful environment to unwind after a long day in the sun.

The Auto Gallery brought several exotic display vehicles. Other event partners included: The Robb Report Collection, contributing hundreds of complimentary issues, Zino Cigars and the Single Malt Society offered samples and educated guests on how to best enjoy their products. Also providing complimentary samples was Virgin Cola served with Players Extreme Rum in banana, mango and coconut flavors. Lastly, for those in search of an energy boost, Players Extreme Vodka was teamed with Roaring Lion energy drink.
