AUTOWEEK FEATURES THE NOV F360AUTOWEEK FEATURES THE NOV F360

Autoweek's Mark Vaughn may not have had the opportunity to bring NOVITEC Rosso's F360 over the 200mph mark when taking the car for a spin, but he did get to experience the German engineered responsiveness in concise braking, quick acceleration and assured handling as he traversed his way through the twists and turns of Hollywood's famous Mulholland Drive.

In regards to NOVITEC's tuning Vaughn says "the improvements felt incremental in every way..." he went on to add, "but you're the boss and you can choose what you want on your car." This is basic tuning philosophy; a vehicle can be adjusted and fine "tuned" to meet the needs and the tastes of the individual driver.

NOVITEC's commitment to excellence is illustrated in a factoid that Mark used in this piece. While the rest of the US uses 95-octane gas, California uses 91-octane. To address this possible effect on performance, NOVITEC flew their engineers from Germany to LA to test the reprogrammed engine management system of the NOVITEC F360 with the lower octane gas. A short trip out to Mojave, and a few brushes with the law after driving the F360 over 210mph, gave the Germans the information they needed to insure optimum performance.AUTOWEEK ISSUE 11/01/04AUTOWEEK ISSUE 11/01/04

This is an example of how NOVITEC Rosso stays at the top of their game and explains why the brand has received such high praise since its North American introduction in April 2004.
