AC SCHNITZER SHOWS OFF AT BIMMERFEST
May 26, 2004News : AC Schnitzer :
Founded by Jon Shafer and Cutter Motors in 2000; the Santa Barbara Bimmerfest held its fifth annual event on May 1st. Although the founder has moved on and the location has changed, BMW enthusiasts were not deterred.
The Earl Warren Showgrounds in Santa Barbara, CA, served as the tranquil setting for hundreds of exhibition vehicles. Show cars were placed in every area of the inviting venue, which provided shade trees and lush grass; a much needed reprieve from the harsh sun.
AC Schnitzer was represented by CEC with an ACS E39 M5 and ACS E46 M3. AC Schnitzer's Brand Manager, Michael Shartsis' E39 M5 received many admiring glances, most notably for the bronze custom painted ACS 19" Type II wheels on the car.

The wheels served to match the vehicle's leather interior, which was offset nicely by AC Schnitzer's brushed aluminum interior trim. The successful event ended with a road rally sponsored by AC Schnitzer/CEC. As the endless parade of BMW's drove by, it was brilliant to see that a healthy percentage were enhanced with AC Schnitzer accessories.
