A select group of industry leaders in automobile manufacturing, the automotive aftermarket, mobile electronics and electronic gaming have recently pooled their capabilities to produce one of the most stunning and unexpected vehicles in some time.

It is known as the EA SPORTS QX56 UGV. This mouthful is short for the "Ultimate Gaming Vehicle", and it is a cooperative effort bringing together the best products and skills from INFINITI NA, EA SPORTS, ALPINE ELECTRONICS, INNOVATIVE AUDIO, BREMBO HIGH PERFORMANCE BRAKES, BF GOODRICH TIRES and CLAUS ETTENSBERGER CORPORATION.

Conceptually, EA SPORTS wanted to build a vehicle that combined the love of gaming with a passion for cars and super-electronics. In the preliminary stages, EA sought a leader in the automotive aftermarket to act as a consultant. EA found that in CEC and so much more. CEC's VP of Marketing Victor Carrillo, worked on the project from start to finish, bringing all of the partners together.

The UGV made its West coast debut to the media at CEC's West Los Angeles Showroom on Tuesday March 30, 2004. The response was jaw dropping. East coast media will have the chance to experience the UGV at Infiniti's private event "The Art of Infiniti" during the New York Auto Show.UGV EA SPORTS INTERIORInfiniti provided an exclusive pre-production model of its all-new QX56 full-sized luxury SUV. In the EA SPORTS gaming lifestyle "room", designed to generously accommodate a 340 lb NFL player or a 6' 10" NBA star, is an incredible 37" flat screen TV.

The QX56 UGV is well rounded with the Infiniti moniker and boasts superior equipment inside and out. Alpine Electronics supplied a 1,360-watt mobile entertainment system, complete with AM/FM/CD/MP3 tuner with DVD video player, CD changer, and XM Satellite Radio; all fed through a 20 speaker 5.1 Dolby Digital/DTS sound system for the ultimate gaming experience. Installation was provided by, Innovative Audio of Bellevue WA. Claus Ettensberger's contribution to the stunning exterior are a set of chrome Italian made 23" Antera Type 325's, wrapped in 305/40/23 BF Goodrich G Force T/A KDW tires.
