The shoot-out pitted 12 street legal vehicles against each other. CEC was invited to the competition and entered a 630hp TECHART GT Street based on a Porsche 997 Turbo. BRABUS and CEC client, Shawn Lampman brought his personal vehicle, a BRABUS CL600 S V12 S bi-turbo to the track to conduct crucial info-laps. On the half-mile straight-away, the CL's 730hp and 811 ft/lbs of torque, courtesy of a BRABUS increased displacement motor, achieved over 150 miles per hour.

Claus Ettensberger, driving the TECHART GT Street, recruited friend and professional race car driver, Alex Tagliani to join him at the event for driving pointers and support. The weekend prior, Claus lent his support to Tagliani at the Long Beach Grand Prix and CEC also sponsored his car.

The shoot-out results were based on a process of elimination through multiple trials. Shown here, is Claus Ettensberger behind the wheel of the TECHART GT Street as he goes head to head with a 1100hp Hennessey Twin Turbo Dodge Viper SRT10.

Which supercar was best of the twelve competing? Well, that remains to be seen on the Speed Channel's Supercars Exposed; the episode that tells all will air in late May.
