AC Schnitzer continues the legend of the 1 Series that started back in the 1970’s. The spirited coupe is enhanced by AC Schnitzer with a body kit that includes a front grill, add-on front spoiler elements and rear skirt insert. In combination, the rear skirt, rear wing and rear roof spoiler increase down force and assure better road grip. The front spoiler elements include optional AC Schnitzer aluminum struts as used in professional motorsports. After all, the BMW 2002 was renowned for its track speed at its initial introduction.

AC SCHNITZER TUNING FOR 1 SERIES WITH 19" TYPE IV WHEELS

Manfred Wollgarten, touring car driver and Technical Director at AC Schnitzer, set-up the ACS1 3.5i sports suspension on the legendary Nürburgring North Loop.

He also equipped the Coupé with a front strut brace to further reduce the body torsion. This allows total driver control and precision, especially when cornering.

A power upgrade increases hp to 360, with an AC Schnitzer sport exhaust that emits a hearty baritone sound through the chromed “Racing” tip design.

The perfect compliments to the ACS1 are the Type IV "BiColor" wheels in size 8.5x19". Attractive interior components from AC Schnitzer are available in carbon fiber and aluminum.
