The Boxster is Porsche’s first road vehicle to be originally designed as a roadster since the 550 Spyder. This rear mid-engine, rear wheel drive, 2-seat sports car is currently in it’s third generation designated as the type 981. Announced at the 2012 Geneva Auto Show, both the Boxster and Cayman were debuted with new sheetmetal influenced by Porsche’s new design language from the 911 (991) and 918 Spyder.
The 2013 Porsche Boxster and Cayman are now readily available at your local Porsche dealers. Naturally, we took this opportunity to show you what these new Porsche models might look like with luxury CEC wheels in both staggered 21” and 20” forged and lightweight alloy variants.
For the ultimate in style and performance, the staggered 21” c884 Forged is the perfect compliment to the Boxster’s pure and simple form. Finished in Matte Gunmetal finish, these staggered lightweight wheels help improve this roadster’s stance transforming it from a boulevard cruiser to canyon carver.
Do you like the look of the simple 5 spoke design of the c884 Forged, but prefer to keep the factory stock tires? Then the new c884 lightweight alloy wheel is the perfect solution. Specifically designed with Porsche in mind, we designed this variant of the c884 for a quick and effective wheel swap that allows you to keep your Porsche factory 20” tires. Seen below on the Boxster S and Cayman S.
In contrast, the CEC c882 Forged finished in Matte Anthracite/Machined, is another sophisticated wheel option that will surely enhance the already impressive look of these roadsters. Also designed with Porsche vehicles in mind, the c882 Forged is made to accept the factory Porsche center caps and 20” tires.
