Ice Speed Record | Bentley Continental Supersports Convertible

The Baltic Sea doesn’t sound like a place where you would set an ice speed record, unless it’s in the middle of winter. If you have the new Bentley Continental Supersports Convertible, and you are Juha Kankkunen, a four-time World Rally Champion, then you are ready to go!

Using the new Bentley Continental Supersports Convertible, which boasts 621 horsepower under the hood, the modifications made to the car include a roll-cage, Pirelli winter tires, and a rear parachute. Juha was able to rocket past the old ISR of 199.83 MPH, also set by him back in 1995, and deliver a new record of 205.48 MPH.

Juha wasn’t the only one who was able to get his hands on the new Bentley Continental Supersports Convertible, we had the opportunity to tune one for another client of ours. The ISR version of the GTC line of Bentley has been packed with factory extras, like Alcantara cross stitched everything, and an elegant black and red carbon fiber dash inlay just to name a few. We added 21” CEC c882 Forged wheels to compliment the huge brake calipers and rotors Bentley was able to fit into the wheel wells.
