CLAUS IS THE 2007 BULLRUN CHAMPION

June 29, 2007

This year's winner of Bullrun 2007 is Claus Ettensberger. Claus proved himself to be the most cunning, strategic, decisive and FASTEST driver of the 2007 group of Bullrunners, partially thanks to his 600hp TECHART Magnum based on the Cayenne Turbo. Claus' driving performance was also enhanced by Michelin tires, his fellow team members from European Car Magazine and Joaquin Mejia, a long time friend and business associate residing in Mexico City.

The Bullrun Rally is a "luxury lifestyle" automotive rally. It is a high-spirited epic rolling celebration across North America bringing together business professionals, celebrities, pro-racers, and a mixed cast of characters for an unforgettable adventure.

The rally went north to south this year, beginning in Montreal, Canada and ending in the Florida Keys. City check points along the way included Boston MA, Atlantic City NJ, Stanton VA, Savannah GA, Orlando FL and Miami FL.

In Miami, CEC welcomed the Bullrunners to the newly built CEC tuning center for breakfast and a tour of CEC's third state-of-the-art showroom and installation facility.

In Miami, Claus' position as the winner was pretty locked-in. He had taken a lead back in Connecticut; his expedient arrival for a scheduled ferry crossing enabled him to hop on an earlier ferry and leave the rest of the drivers in the dust.

This shrewd move, his K40 radar detector, which offers a money back guarantee should you get a ticket, and Claus' consistent lightening speed, all contributed to his win. Since Claus had a comfortable lead leaving Miami, he left the last leg to Key West in the hands of his co-pilot Joaquin Mejia. Claus took to the sea as a guest of European Car Magazine and Spectre Powerboats in a 46 foot 2,150 hp Cigarette boat with twin super-charged Mercury engines, piloted by two-time speed boat world champion Scot Conrad.

That night in Key West Claus was awarded the mighty Bullrun championship belt. The next morning, belt in hand, Claus headed back to Miami where his family, European partners and employees awaited his arrival for the grand opening celebration of the newly built CEC Miami tuning center.
